International automaker Toyota, currently celebrating its 50th year in the U.S., has won the highest reputation ranking in Reputation Institute’s Global Pulse 2008, their third annual survey measuring consumer perception of the world’s largest corporations.
The Global Pulse 2008 study measures the overall respect, trust, esteem, admiration and good feelings consumers hold towards the largest 600 companies in the world. Toyota was selected for Governance, Products/Services, Leadership and Performance. Toyota was the only automaker in the top tier of results, with Volvo Bilar ranking 30th.
