Simon Group Ltd., an executive career coaching firm servicing major corporations in the tri-state area, has created an online publication called the Executive Tribune where executives can plug in to president Michael Simon, who blogs about current issues concerning the downturn in the economy and job market.
In Simon’s blog entry for Wednesday, he discusses the fact that he hasn’t seen so many millionaires on the job market in 25 years. According to Simon, especially on Wall Street, many executives are reassessing their careers to find more stable jobs. Luxuries that were once plentiful are also being reevaluated. Even the once highly-coveted golf membership has taken a back seat to paying for their children’s education.
